Pat is the Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategy. Pat has been with Black Bear since 2017 and leads finance, accounting and operations for Black Bear. Pat joined the company as CFO and helped oversee Black Bear’s transition from an early stage startup to a leading provider of on-site renewable energy deployment. During his tenure as CFO, Black Bear had a successful exit and acquisition by Blackstone owned Legence in July, 2022.

Prior to Black Bear, Pat worked for 20 plus years as CFO from early stage to public companies primarily leading the finance and administrative functions. Pat has extensive buy and sell side experience, has successfully led an IPO (abio) and deep domain experience in capital formation and complex business transactions.

Pat earned his B.A in Economics from the University of Colorado and MBA from Regis University. He is based in Boulder, Colorado.
