Megan joined Black Bear Energy in 2021 as part of the analysis team and went on to found the company’s inaugural software team after earning her Master’s degree in Business Analytics from the University of Colorado in 2024. With over four years at Black Bear, she brings a deep understanding of the company’s operations and uses that perspective to guide thoughtful, practical software product development.

Megan has an optimizer’s mindset and a passion for identifying inefficiencies and transforming complex workflows into intuitive, time-saving tools. She is driven by building software that improves both efficiency and quality for internal teams and clients alike.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Design Engineering from the University of Colorado and is based in Boulder, Colorado. Megan also attended Pepperdine University, where she served as captain of the Cross Country and Track teams. Outside of work, she enjoys racing mountain bikes, fly fishing, skiing, and spending time with her cats, Miso and Minnow.
